Body Worlds 3

I would like to get your opinion on this exhibit.
What did you think?
Were you morbidly fascinated like I was?
Did you think it was irreverent?
Or did you think it was an incredible testimony of God's love and hand in all things, (every single detail)?

I would encourage you to take a look at this exhibit. The price of the ticket is worth the visit. I came away feeling profoundly moved/disturbed. It still has me thinking, and it really opened my mind to the awesomeness of the human body and the miracle of life.

Personally, I have no desire to see this. I can't get over that these are real bodies and that kind of freaks me out. Jake is going next week with his Sports Medicine class but he's been to a cadaver lab before so dead bodies are nothing to him. I'm sure this is cooler than a cadaver lab though. I just don't want to see it.

I loved your comment on facebook that you won't be eating jerky for a while! Funny.

I think it is kind of cool but won't be going to it. Sean is going next week with his sports medicine class and Jared is making time to go with them. I'm glad his schedule will allow that.

My 10yo daughter and I thought it was hugely fascinating, wonderful, thought-provoking, and quite frankly, beautiful. We are not squeamish people, though, and were hugely in awe of how intricate our bodies are.

I saw the exhibit when it was here in Portland and thought it was amazing. I learned so much and it confirmed what I already knew: we are complicated and wonderous creatures. I highly recommend it.
